1963 Studebaker Standard Commercial with John Cameron Swazye Tube. Duration : 0.98 Mins.

John Cameron Swayze, of Timex watch fame was the spokesperson for the introduction of the Studebaker Standard. The Standard was a mid year entry at 35 dollars. This low priced fleet model didn't feature the name Lark anywhere on the car. The front frender scripts simply said "Studebaker". This was about 50 to 100 dollars cheaper than a Chevy II, 50 less than a Ford Falcon. The Plymouth Valiant and Rambler American were from 10 to 50 dollars less expensive.
